During days of World War II, the American air force relied on a variety of aircraft to transport troops and supplies throughout vast distances. One of the most important of these was the C-54 Skymaster, a robust machine that earned the moniker "Flying Fortress Express." Built by Lockheed, the C-54 boasted a strong engine and roomy passenger section
